How to clean the Trigger-Action lid

Stanley's Trigger-Action lid is designed for easy one-handed drinking. What makes this two-piece lid so innovative can also make it a bit tricky to take apart and reassemble.

DISASSEMBLE FOR EASY CLEANING


1. Turn the lid upside down.

2. To separate the parts, press down on the handle while twisting it counterclockwise to open.

 

TO REASSEMBLE


1. Insert the lower part into the upper part. Make sure the locking mechanism is aligned with the drinking opening and that the handle is twisted counterclockwise in the open position.

2. Gently press down on the handle and twist it clockwise to lock. You will hear a small click confirming that the parts are secured and the cup is ready for use.
