Mark Cobham, the founder of Lifesystems, created the UK’s first hiking-specific first aid kit in 1989. It started when he, as a young keen explorer often in rugged terrain, one day needed immediate medical help. Fortunately, he was on a trip with a doctor who had brought along makeshift first aid equipment, which saved him.

Since then, Lifesystems has continuously evolved through the use of scientific innovations and leading research. Lifesystems now offers a wide variety of safety and support equipment for hiking and expeditions. Lifesystems products are recognized and exported to more than 40 countries.
