Kiwi

Established in 1904, over 115 years ago in Australia by William Ramsay. The Kiwi name and logo were chosen because his wife was from New Zealand. This was the first shoe polish on the market that made shoes shine brightly. In 1908, the shoe polish became waterproof and contributed to Australian shoes being regarded as the best in the world for a long time. Success grew beyond national borders when the British and American armies began using Kiwi shoe polish during World War I. Kiwi is still the most dominant shoe polish in most parts of the world, sold in over 180 countries with a market share of over 50%.
